B. What Happens After You Submit a Complaint
Upon receiving a complete and valid complaint, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
- Notify the user responsible.
- Take appropriate action, including warnings, suspensions, or termination for repeat violations.
C. Submitting a Counter-Notice (If You’re the User)
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may file a counter-notice that includes:
- Identification of the content and its location prior to removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your full contact details (name, address, phone, email).
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal Court for your district (or HookedTee’s jurisdiction, if outside the U.S.) and accept service of process from the original complainant.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may notify the original complainant. Unless legal action is filed within 10–14 business days, the content may be restored at our discretion.
D. DMCA Compliance Timeline
We aim to review and respond to valid DMCA takedown requests within 3–5 business days from receipt. Upon verification, we will promptly remove or disable the allegedly infringing content and notify the affected party.
For users who submit a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant initiates legal proceedings. Repeat infringement may result in permanent account suspension in compliance with Section 512 of the U.S. DMCA.
E. Warning About False Claims
Please note: Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, knowingly submitting a false claim or counter-notice may result in legal liability for damages and attorney’s fees.
